K9 Mojo (originally named "Hairold II") is a Labrador/Golden Retriever mix and was a purpose-bred assistance dog that was released from the Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) program due to his high energy and drive. He was originally trained for disaster/live find but has since been switched to being trained for cadaver/human remains detection and has his AKC/CGC certification. His littermates include a FEMA disaster K9 ("Hattie"), a State of Alabama Department of Agriculture K9 ("Honda"), and two successful assistance dogs for CCI.
