Ronda Jantz & K9 Hattie

Ronda began volunteering with KSARDA in September 2004. Ronda is training her SAR Partner Hattie in wilderness. Ronda also helps with grant writing and editing for KSARDA. Ronda received her B.S. from Kansas State in Milling Science and her M.S. in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State. She lives in Whitewater with her husband and fellow-KSARDA member Brad and their three dogs Pig, K9 Hattie, and K9 Mojo (Brad's operational K9 Partner).

Hattie is an Australian Cattledog mix that loves to herd her mother and sisters. Ronda and Hattie are training for wilderness certification. Hattie passed her 20-acre wilderness evaluation in Spring 2006.
