January 24, 2009: KSARDA members updated their First Aid and CPR training

March 29, 2009: A Crime Scene Preservation Course was given by Wichita Police Department Crime Scene Investigator Andrew Maul. The Crime Scene Preservation Course is a requirement to be a NASAR certified K-9 handler.

August 13, 2009: K-9 Handlers from KSARDA and Sedgwick County Emergency Management K-9 Search Team participated in a Field Emergency K-9 First Aid Class taught by Veterinarian Jan Hinshaw.
