
Greg is a KC-135 instructor/evaluator pilot in the United States Air Force. Greg came to us in January 2009 while stationed at McConnell AFB. He has lived in Okinawa, Japan for 3 years prior to moving to Kansas. Greg has also been deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom and has flown on over 100 combat missions. Currently, Greg teaches at the KC-135 formal schoolhouse in Altus, Oklahoma and still has close ties to KSARDA as our 'southern detachment' member.Greg has over 15 years of SAR experience beginning in South Florida as a member of Florida Special Response Team-A where he was a flanker and specialized in field communications. He is also a qualified Ground SAR Team Leader in the Civil Air Patrol were he has participated in over 40 SAR missions in the South Florida area. He is a NASAR SARTECH II, Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) certified Rescue Diver, FEMA Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) trained, a graduate of the USAF's Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) School and Water Survival School, and a licensed amateur radio operator. Greg has a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Aeronautical Science. |
